Neural therapy is a holistic and regulatory therapeutic method. Injecting the local anaesthetic procaine into a specific part of the nervous system causes a brief numbing effect, which subsequently impacts the entire autonomic nervous system. This stimulates the body's self-regulation and self-healing powers, allowing the effect to persist beyond the duration of the anaesthetic. It is also assumed that "interference fields" located elsewhere—such as scars or damaged teeth—can trigger discomfort and pain via nerve pathways. In such cases, the anaesthetic procaine is also injected into the "interference fields" and their associated nerve pathways to resolve healing blockages.

Multiple treatments at intervals of at least one week are often required. The treatment is covered by health insurance.

Neural therapy: Gentle impulses for self-healing

Neural therapy is a gentle yet effective method for activating the body's self-healing powers. As a holistic form of therapy, it utilizes the nervous system to alleviate pain and restore impaired functions. In my practice, I use neural therapy in a targeted manner to treat a wide range of conditions and promote general well-being.

Areas of application for neural therapy

Neural therapy is suitable for a variety of complaints, including:

  • Chronic and acute pain: Back and joint pain, migraines, tension headaches.
  • Scar-related issues: Treatment of scars that act as an interference field and cause discomfort.
  • Muscular tension: Alleviation of muscle tightness and restricted movement.
  • Functional complaints: Treatment of digestive problems, sleep disorders, or menstrual and other hormonal issues, as well as inflammation such as cystitis, prostatitis, and sinusitis.

Course of treatment

The treatment begins with a detailed consultation in which I carefully record your symptoms and medical history. I then select the appropriate injection sites and administer targeted injections. The treatment is generally well-tolerated, and the effects are often noticeable after just a few sessions. Depending on the clinical picture and individual needs, neural therapy can be used as a stand-alone therapy or in combination with other procedures. In some cases, multiple sessions at intervals of 1–2 weeks are necessary to achieve lasting improvement. The treatment is covered by health insurance.

Benefits of neural therapy

  • Holistic approach: The treatment acts not only locally but also on the entire nervous system, promoting the body's self-regulation.
  • Low risk of side effects: Due to the use of natural and well-tolerated substances, the risk of side effects is low.
  • Wide range of applications: Neural therapy can be used for many different conditions.
