Dr. Katrin Tschupp, DPT

Dr Katrin Tschupp spent more than half of her professional career in the United States, where she practiced as a Physical Therapist at the renowned Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now Shirley Ryan AbilityLab) and the University of Florida. From the beginning of her career, she has specialized in outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation, completing extensive postgraduate training in both Switzerland and the USA. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine in Florida, where she trained in manual therapy according to the internationally recognized approach of Dr. Stanley Paris. Her primary clinical interest lies in differential diagnosis within physical therapy. She wrote her doctoral dissertation on this topic and developed a two-day course that she teaches at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). Alongside her private clinical practice, Dr Tschupp has served as a Lecturer in the Master of Science in Physiotherapy program at ZHAW since September 2017.
