Therapeutic spinal injections can provide rapid and lasting pain relief for herniated discs, nerve compression, facet joint arthritis, or other joint and nerve-related pain. These injections serve as both a diagnostic and therapeutic procedure to precisely identify the source of the pain. Our pain specialists are SSIPM-certified and highly experienced.

Facet Joint Injection
Treatment for arthrosis-related back pain in the small spinal joints.

Periradicular Injection
Targeted injection to the nerve root for radicular pain, e.g., caused by a herniated disc. Used for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, often providing several weeks of pain relief.

Epidural Injection
For multiple affected nerves or spinal stenosis. Combines local anesthesia with cortisone to relieve pinched nerves.

Technical Procedure
Performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, precisely guided by fluoroscopy (X-ray). Briefly uncomfortable, but generally well-tolerated.

Injections are also available under sedation, including intravenous access, oxygen administration, and continuous monitoring.
