Raphael Meier

After completing his physiotherapy degree at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur, Raphael Meier spent six years practicing in a private clinic specializing in musculoskeletal disorders, with a primary focus on sports rehabilitation. There he gained extensive experience in Medical Exercise Therapy (MET) and the development of tailored, patient-specific rehabilitation protocols. In 2016, he earned his Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, qualifying as an OMT manual therapist.

His master’s thesis focused on chronic low back pain; it was accepted for publication by a peer-reviewed international scientific journal and he presented the findings at an international spine congress. This training deepened his expertise in manual joint and muscle mobilization techniques. His clinical approach is evidence-based, goal-oriented, and tailored to each patient's individual physical and psychosocial situation. In 2020, he completed his Master of Science (MSc) in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, including a clinical research fellowship on neuropathic pain at the University of Oxford.
